The latest Viewpoint updates for psychological therapists.

Thank you for taking the time to complete our latest Viewpoint survey. We love hearing about your experience with us and we’re delighted to share more about the actions that have happened as a direct result of your feedback.

Continuing professional development (CPD)

As a result of your feedback, we’re delighted to announce the introduction of our CPD & Events Calendar. Our Therapist Engagement Executive, Bobbie Groves, has been busy creating an informative series of events to support your growth and development, and we will continue to add more content. 

CPD Events are held online, free of charge and made available for you to watch back at your leisure. You’ll receive a CPD certificate for each Clinical CPD Event held by Xyla Digital Therapies that you attend.

Communication

You asked for clearer communication around the ways in which you can request our help, and we certainly want you to feel supported in your role with us. We are working hard internally to improve the knowledge and communications you receive. As a reminder, here are our contact details:

Volume of work

We pride ourselves on the flexibility of our service and continually strive to match patient preference with therapist availability. We try our hardest to strike a balance given the nature of demand and seasonality that we know is synonymous within IAPT, for example, lesser assessments over some summer months.

That said, the pipeline of inbound referrals has been much stronger this month and continues to be, going into September. We aim to keep our communication clear, consistent, and timely around this by keeping you regularly updated and would like to take this opportunity to thank our network again for their patience and ongoing commitment to the service. We look forward to keeping you busy over the forthcoming months and in the run up to Christmas.

Pay

In April we conducted a pay review which resulted in hourly rate increases across some modalities. Your experience with Xyla Digital Therapies is very important to us, and we will continue to review our pay rates periodically, communicating any corresponding changes with immediate effect.

We care about our therapists and want to ensure that everyone feels valued as we continue to grow. That’s why we’ve also implemented a better referral scheme for you and your clinical network. 

When you recommend a friend to Xyla Digital Therapies who completes 100 contacts, we’ll say ‘thank you’ with £300 for you, and a warm ‘welcome’ to them with £300 also*. Find out more.
